News 4 Live (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the News 4 Live mobile application and the website https://news4live.com/ (the “Service”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

1. Information Collection and Use

News 4 Live does not require users to create an account or provide personal information such as their name, email address, or phone number to read news articles.

2. Types of Data Collected

Device & Usage Data: We may collect non-identifiable usage statistics (articles viewed, device model, operating system version) to improve app speed and content delivery.
Push Notification Tokens: If you permit push notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) assigns an anonymous device registration token strictly to send breaking news alerts. No personal identity is linked to this token.
Local Storage: The app caches articles and images on your device using local SQLite database (Room) so you can read news offline.

3. Advertising & Third-Party Services

We use third-party service providers to facilitate and monetize our Service:

Google AdMob & Google AdSense: Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and advertising IDs to serve ads based on prior visits or interests. You can manage personalized ad settings via Google’s Ads Settings.
Firebase Cloud Messaging & Analytics: Used to deliver real-time news alerts and monitor app stability.
